Hume Lake 2014

Hume Lake 2014

Well, I'm finally back from camp. It was amazing; I got to do all sorts of cool and unique things and I also learned proficiently more about God and His word. (This pic is from the first day, just after we arrived.)

On Monday, I went on the High Adventures Ropes Course that they have there, and it was really cool. I also went to the lake, the swimming pool (which was convieniently next to our cabin!), played disc golf, went on a tire swing, got a Caramel Macchiato w/ Hazelnut and Whipped Cream at Hume's Coffee shop, played Rec Games and played a game called Egyptian Ratslap YO MAMMA! The Rec games were usually at the chapel. Also on the High School side of the camp, there was a general store that I went to and bought candy and two discs for disc golf (which was an 18-Hole course). We ate in the second story of a building for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Everyday there was awesome food and one night we had M&M Brownies for desert!

Also I got baptized during camp. I felt like God had reached out to me and I decided that I wanted to get baptized. Because Hume Lake is a Christan camp we had chapel in the morning and at night, everyday. The speakers were great; one of them even lived in Ecuador as a missionary to homeless and poor children off the streets! Also the worship band, Valley of Vision, was great! Every song I heard was amazing.

Thank you to everyone who helped me get to camp, thank you Thank You THANK YOU! My time there was probably one of the best times that I have ever had in my life. Your donations helped pay for the cost as well as my free time at camp and it helped so much. I just can't stop thanking you guys for how much you made my week at camp awesome.

Here are some pictures from camp and a video of my baptisim. :)

We slept in cabins with a bunch of guys like me.
